Since it’s launch in early September 2010 quite a lot has been happening on the service, a few good things bands can utilize for marketing strategies and also a bit of the bad.
I have wrote an article over at Digirido, a new music marketing resource for bands and musicians all about the rollercoaster service that is iTunes Ping.
Here is a quick introduction;
“Ping is not original by any standards, this article is not a write up about the social content pusher Ping.fm, instead, a service which just like this website has gone live in the last couple of weeks. iTunes and it’s new release, iTunes 10 have a new music orientated social community.
So who can you network with and how? In this article I will be asking these questions and adding some new information on how this new service has evolved in the two weeks.”
