This part is not just about how a song you have created sounds to the individual.  It is not how you package your ideas and present as a monetization idea.

Obviously if your music is very good, you can sell this just like bands, producers have been doing for the past 40-50 years, called the CD.  As you will be shown, there are tools out there that bands would never think to utilize with marketing.  Just like creating a product, there are so many tools to help your ideas become reality and make money from your love of music.

If you are to think solely about your music, as being in a band this is not a bad idea then you need to set a minimum level of sound quality.  No matter how many out the box ideas you get to amass fans and create money somehow, you will always have to fall back on your music as that is really why they are there.  Just adding these things on to it will help increase its market exposure, and hopefully your fanbase.  So be aware that if you start off with high quality you need to be able to hit that standard for future releases.  Starting with lower quality and working your way up is a more cost effective way of operating.  And thats how Autonomous Industry is trying to roll, innexspensivley.

Keep it simple, your a band and this guide is not the answer but could help aid you in finding your own answer.  You can think about selling your music or sell anything else around your music.  The other possibilities of selling the right thing could be unbeknown to yourself right now, at the end of the day you will never see in to the eyes of your true fans, as they each want something different out of you.

Product testing with your family and friends for a week or two before you launch something new would not be a bad thing.
