TweetBoth open source community forums which should be installed on your hosting control panel are PHP Bulletin Boards and SMF.
Within your control panel, find Fantastico again to install the software which is already pre installed on your web hosting
Scroll down and within Community/Discussion Boards you will find SMF which stands for Simple Machines Forum
Whatever version you have, click New Installation to begin the process
You are asked to put in the basic information for installation. SMF will automatically set up your databases so that you can stick to the simple stuff. If you have a problem with the password later on, use a small password such as ‘pass’ and then change it later, this process will be explained later.
Click finish installation
Remember to send the details to your admin@ email address and head to your forum to continue setup.
Your installed forum should now be up and running and is only a few steps away from you and your fans building a community.
