TweetYoutube, (currently number three on the Alexa world rankings).   Is the most visited video portal available on the internet today, so obviously more videos are searched for here than any where else.  Like other social services, they allow you to put in your content, in this it is video.  Videos are able to be viewed by the public, your family, friends and foremost the fans of your band.  You are given embeddable links for every upload you do and everyone is capable of interacting with it.

They can leave  comments, reply to other commenters and your video in general.  With the age of new browsers and software apps, people will download your videos with whatever software they have so you should know about this now, then forget about it and continue your strategies.  They may even re upload your work and it may be slightly edited which may result in a greater awareness of your band.

Lets take you through the register process and basic editing of your Youtube channel.

As we have already gone through the Google Registering process and the two are now working together.  We can just sign in with the Google account we wish to use and just add some basic details that each Youtube channel needs.

Here you can choose your username and confirm the other details that Google already have.

Your browser will know that you have a Google account, you will be shown two options.  Just sign in with your account if you were not already.

Your Youtube account has been created and added to your Google profile.  The next step is now to customize the page.

With the edit you are free to change similar features to that of other social networking services, music services and the like.  Below the image of your channel has been highlighted as this can be changed by yourself in your account page or by letting an image be created automatically by the video’s you use.  So if you upload your first video, one frame from within that will be your channels image. You should be given the choice of three frames.
