Fan pages are a must in the realms of social media, you can edit them so that they can display your content automaticaly, (such as with a blog’s feed),  If you don’t put any links to your own web pages from these websites they are obviously going to stay there and not visit your website instead.  Once set up with certain applications they can be left to do their own job, you are free to concentrate on other areas.
