TweetFirst you need to create a page, simply login to your account, you should also be administrator of the page. Then you will be able to pass on any admin rights to other band members.
Click on ‘Pages’ on your facebook account. Then click on where it says “Did you mean: Facebook Pages”. This will take you to a page with the create button on.
There is the button you want to start with.
The next page will prompt you with the relative information it needs to being. The overall category, fan page name and the button to create. For your name, please be as descriptive as possible. Your name is the only part that fan’s can find you on. So you will obviously need your band name.
You can now head to your page by searching for it on facebook, or going in to your page’s section on your account, as this will show you what pages you are administrator of.
A last main step to take in the settings of your fan page is the option on where your visitors get directed to, you will have a choice of the wall, Info, Photos or Discussions Tab page.
Head back to your main page and then click the pencil underneath your main profile photo. Start off the description with your domain name. It is much better highlighting this here than within your page’s title and wasting space.
