Blog RSS – Feed Reader

There is only one usable RSS feed for facebook fan pages,  It is called Social RSS.

Go to your search form on facebook and type in ‘Social RSS’, then click on applications in your categories which is in the green box.

It should then have the applications page on the top of search results.

Click through to the page’s application and add to your page.

Select your page for your band and ‘Add to Page’.

Search for your band’s page or locate it in your pages on your left of your account.

Once in your page click on ‘Edit Page’.

Find the section for Social RSS and click on Edit so that you can input your blogs feeds, title and description.

Input the same description you have set up for your blog, the website link of your homepage this is not of your blog but if they are the same thing thats ok.  Include a few tags, the blogs title as it is on your actual blog and the feed.  The guide  provided below is that of a feedburner feed.

Once submitted it should take a few hours or days maximum to sync with your feed and display it on your page.  From there you are free to place it where you wish and update the feed when you want.
