TweetLet’s go through the set-up guide for Rootmusic and some of the instructions you may need to give your band the best possible chance on Facebook Fan Pages. There is no need to register with Root Music as you can use Facebook connect to make sure you can control what you need to. Once registered, edit your fan page for your band and add it to your boxes tabs for your page. Root music is rather new so expect more features to become more available in the future, however for now a bio, gigs, image, music and a few other options are more than satisfactory for a band to begin with their brand.

Choose your fan page to edit and begin adding to your fan page.
On the left your able to edit your city, image, songs, gig dates, twitter account and receive comments from fans.
After you have edited your information, head to the rootmusic installer which is the link provided at the top of export.
Click on BandPage on your + Boxes tab.
Next click on settings on your Wall page so that you can change the landing page of potential fans.
Make it so your BandPage is the first page that fans land on, once edited on rootmusic.com website it will update automatically for you.
Define Me Application
Another good feature about fan pages is not only how they can communicate on your wall and with other fans, but that you can receive ‘reviews’ with a define me application. Adding it to your fan page will not only show what they think about you, but you can add these reviews to your own website. If someone stumbles on to your website or band and does not know much, seeing other references from other listeners is a positive thing and may be a positive influence.
